My campaign will work by allowing users to interact with the participatory collective on a web page so that they can gain support and funding that they need to complete their mission successfully. To achieve their goal, I allowed users to be able to donate, join a mailing list, and to be able to join any events that the participatory collective may hold in the future, by creating social media posts.
The key audience for this campaign is adults who want a better life for themselves and their children. As the participatory collectives mission is to enable a fairer society through building solidarity in a movement, and need all the help that they can get to be able to achieve this, I think this target audience is appropriate.
I tried to keep the tone of the campaign friendly and outgoing because if the participatory collective needs support, the tone needs to be cheerful and drag the users in so that they can show and give their support. I tried to also make the tone trustworthy so that the user can support the campaign and the participatory collective without worrying that they’re supporting the wrong cause.
The goals of this campaign were to gain support from users by them donating, sharing the story, and by attending events. Another goal of this campaign was to be able to get funding from other sources, such as other organisations, because the participatory collective don’t have the funding they need to be able to achieve their mission.
This all leads back to the participatory collective values and needs because they need funding from other sources to be able to complete their mission. They also need all the support that they can get so that they will be able to get the funding that they need. Some of their values consist of authenticity, trust, compassion and honesty which I have conveyed into the campaign and shown through the colour scheme that I chose for the web page.
