Colour

This is good example of colour because it has the most commonly see colours in outer space, as the image is the milky way galaxy. The different colours represent what/where each part of the galaxy is. For example, the yellow spot in the middle is the sun, and some of the brighter specks of colour are planets/asteroids/stars. The blue/brown colours represent dust clouds, which is a main part of the galaxy. That is what makes the shape of the milky way a spiral.

This is interesting because you don’t see this from Earth, you can only see it through space telescopes, which billions of people don’t get a chance to do. This image shows how beautiful space actually is and so many people don’t realise it. The image is really clear and bright which is really cool because you can see everything that is contained in the milky way which is so rare.

This would make me want to learn about outer space because here you can actually see how cool only a part of it is and after knowing this I would like to know what else is out there. For example, if this is our galaxy, what are other galaxies like? And what other colours could there be? Outer space is a lot bigger and more beautiful than what people think.

The colours in this image represent what outer space is, everything in space has a colour, and different objects/things have different colours/similar colour schemes, depending on what they are. The colours is what makes outer space as beautiful as it is and that is what would make me want to learn more about it.

However, this is not a great example of colour. This image of outer space only contains the colours red and black, which does look quite cool but as it is only two colours, can look boring to other people.

Even though this image looks cool, the colour red isn’t usually found in outer space, so this image is quite unrealistic. Knowing that, it makes the image less interesting so I would more than likely skip past the image because it may not be real. Dust clouds can be various colours but red is not usually one of them, which is disappointing to know. I wouldn’t want to learn about outer space if I knew that piece of information.

Using Microsoft Paint, I re-designed the bad example to make it more interesting and to fit what the word colour means. I added some dust clouds in various colours as this is typically what to find in space. Also it makes the image look better because it is not just one solid colour. I only added dust clouds because that was all the image consisted of before and I didn’t want to change it too much as to not destroy the beauty of it.

The other colours make the image look more realistic which interests me because the more colours there are, the more there is to learn about it.
